The Ice Cream Spoon is a fun spoon, perfect for enjoying a good ice cream in a family and relaxed environment. The idea was creating an eco-friendly cutlery for ice cream by means of an innovative material and a minimal but ergonomic design, using the sustainable material from Ekobo.

WHY? Ekobo asked us to design and develop an ice cream spoon to complete their Ice Cream Set. This collection is part of their BIOBU range, eco-products produced with Bamboo Fiber.
What? The Ice Cream Spoon is an element with a funny aesthetic, perfect for enjoying a good ice cream with your family in a relaxed environment. The idea was to create an eco-friendly spoon using their material and suppliers with a minimal but ergonomic design, inspired in the traditional plastic spoons that they give you in the ice-cream shops.
HOW? It is made of FSC-certified bamboo fibre, a highly-renewable natural resource, combined with a 100% food-grade melamine binder. It is free of toxic materials like BPA, PVC and Phthalates. Thanks to the material properties and the well thought out design, the Ice Cream Spoon is lightweight, non fragile, reusable and dishwasher safe. Thus, like the rest of the Biobu range it is a long-life product, making it the perfect alternative to disposable plastic cutlery or fragile dishware.
