teaching

Like society and the economy, design is in a time of profound change. A paradigm of circularity in the production and consumption model requires a basic redefinition of the way in which designers work and the criteria they take into account.

We collaborate with companies, universities and organizations to share how to design achieving the best possible environmental impact

Much more than just designers
To share our knowledge with others is one of the experiences we value the most. We started teaching sustainable design in 2011, and we didn’t stop since then.

Like society and the economy, design is in a time of profound change. A paradigm of circularity in the production and consumption model requires a basic redefinition of the way in which designers work and the criteria they take into account.

That is why sustainability has been integrated into the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula of a wide variety of disciplines.

A wide experience in teaching
The younger generations are putting the shift towards more sustainable models at the center of the agenda, and this is influencing the decisions of brands, governments and organizations. For us, providing the youngest with tools and resources has always been key, since the change will come thanks to them.

That is why we have experience in practically all levels of the educational system, from basic education to university, passing through non-regulated training. No one is too inexperienced or old to begin to understand what circular design is and how to put it into practice.

These are some of the training solutions we offer:

- Informative talks on sustainability, circular economy and how design can contribute to this transformation. We have held talks like this at the university level, for teenagers or companies and organizations.

- Workshops. Adapted to the needs of the organization that needs us, both in terms of hours, objectives or results. They allow practical learning and a playful experience for the participating teams. With the appropriate adaptations, they work perfectly for professionals from various disciplines such as university students or even teenagers or kids. - Subjects within regulated study plans. Sustainability is at last at the center of the highly diverse curriculum. We have many years of experience creating sustainable design courses for students of very varied profiles.

Building knowledge for the future
Design is a young and dynamic discipline, so it is constantly changing. We believe that this is why creating content and materials for its consolidation is very important. At Nutcreatives we participate in European innovation projects, where we help generate useful materials for students, teachers and organizations. For this we collaborate with universities and companies from all over Europe working and co-creating to build the design of the future, which will undoubtedly be circular.
